Patricia Delia Myres

Patricia Delia Myres, 85 of Coldspring, Texas, passed away Sunday, August 17, 2014. Patricia was born August 13, 1929 in Chickalah, Arkansas to parents, William Henry Smith and Viola Mae (Williams) Smith. She loved her church family at First Baptist Church of Coldspring. Mrs. Myers enjoyed her time visiting with her siblings and in-laws. She also enjoyed her large family gatherings which she always “reigned” over. She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Donnie Ray Dodd; brothers, Bill Smith, Fred Smith, and Loyd Smith; sisters, Deana King, Edna King, Lilly Mongold, Clara Harkey, Ida Snider, Laura Benefield, Ruby Wilson, Rudean Mae King, and Effie Wilson. Survivors include her wonderful husband of 50 years, Herbert Myres; daughters, Jean Turner, Linda Anderson and husband, Howard; son, Larry Neal Dodd and wife, Edith; sister, Goldie Purtel; several grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, several great-great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, many loving in-laws and Church family.
