Oren Robert Clark, 62, of Houston, died Monday, January 12, 2015, at the Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Wednesday, January 21, 2015, at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel with graveside services at a later date in Houston National Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton.
Oren was born October 9, 1952 in Jacksonville, Florida, to parents; Oren G. and Dolores E. Young Clark, and has been a lifelong resident of the Houston area. He was a graduate of the Lamar High School, received a Bachelors degree in education, was a veteran of the US Navy with service during Vietnam aboard the USS Sperry, and was an electrician by trade. He also enjoyed spending time with family, fishing, the beach, and his work.
Mr. Clark is survived by his daughter: Alicia Brewer-Ables and husband Justin of Splendora, sons: Bryan Clark and wife Heidi Seabrook and Johnathan Clark of Dayton, parents: Oren G. and Dolores E. Young Clark of Houston, sister: Sallye Cosgrove of California, grandchildren: Haylie Brewer, Clovis Brewer, Katlyn Brewer, Jonah Clark, and Abbygail Clark, two nephews, and numerous other relatives, and friends.
