Ona Mae Willis-Sparks, age 91, passed away Tuesday, September 17, 2013 in Huntsville, Texas. She was born to parents Thomas Washington Lee and Bessie Mae Lee on November 05, 1921 in Center, Texas. Mrs. Sparks was a resident of Plum Grove for 60+ years. She was a homemaker with a heart full of love. She was deeply devoted to her family and enjoyed gardening and cooking. She was a kind and giving person with a tender heart. She loved the Lord Jesus Christ. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Ernest Paul Willis; both parents; brother Thomas Warsh Lee, son E.P. (Tom) Willis Jr.; and her daughter Gloria Jean Cassell. She will be remembered lovingly by her son Larry L. Willis and wife Linda; daughters Linda Lee Roberts, Marylyn Sue Hughes and husband Johnny Mac; thirteen grandchildren, thirty-two great-grandchildren, and twelve great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and other cherished family members and faithful friends throughout the years. Visitation will be held Thursday, September 19, 2013, 5:00-9:00 p.m. at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas. Funeral services will be held Friday, September 20, 2013, 2:00 p.m. at Pace-Stancil Chapel with interment following at Pin Oak Cemetery. Pallbearers include Keith Willis, Josh Lucas, Charlie Ware, Matthew Lucas, John Willis, Joe Thompson, and Sam Powell.
