Novell Morgan Carter

Novell Carter, age 81; a resident of Conroe, Texas, passed away Saturday, July 30, 2011 at Odyssey Health Care, Conroe, Texas. Mrs. Carter was born January 5, 1930 in Riverside, Texas to parents, Bruce and Jewell Morgan who preceded her in death along with her husband, Robert Lee Carter. Survivors include her sons, John L. Carter of Conroe, Texas, Travis Carter of Crockett, Texas, Mike Morgan of Huntsville, Texas; her daughter, Jennie Carter McDonald of Willis, Texas; brothers, Wilburn Morgan of Riverside, Texas, Robert Earl Morgan of Riverside, Texas; sisters, Top Russell of Stroud, Oklahoma, Ruby Morgan of Livingston and Lou Ellen Cole of Huntsville; nine grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, George Henry and Vera Carter of Point Blank, Texas; numerous other cherished family members and faithful friends throughout the years. Visitation will be held Sunday, July 31, 2011, 5:00-9:00 p.m. at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Coldspring, Texas. Graveside services will be held Monday, August 1, 2011, 10:00 a.m. at Carter Cemetery. Pallbearers include Billy Bob Lee, Julie Conn, Ronald A. Lee, Dusty Carter, Matt Carter, and Daniel Carter.
