Norris Alton Lewis Sr. (N.A.) came to this earth on June 1, 1930 in Trinity County, Texas and went to be with the Lord on June 29, 2012, while at home in Tarkington Prairie, Texas. He resided in Houston (Spring Branch), Trinity County and Cleveland (Tarkington Prairie), Texas. He worked forty years for Fisk Electric Company as an electrician, foreman, superintendent, and estimator. He was a lifelong member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers IBEW 716 and a faithful member of Rural Shade Baptist Church in Tarkington Prairie. He was preceded in death by his parents Elvin and Ellen Lewis, brothers William and Leroy; sisters Flora Mae Harrell and Alma Lewis. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Jane Lewis and one brother, Bob and wife Ann Lewis. He is also survived by eight children and step-children Norris Jr. and wife Susan, Judy Boykin and husband Rod, Charles and wife Cheryl, Michael, Debbie Palubicki, Robert Fisher and wife Leah, Jimmy Fisher, and Audrey Anderson as well as twelve grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren, all who brightened his life. To add to all this, so many other family members and friends shared his time on this earth, Devoted to Mary Jane, family and friends and trusting in his Savior, he is at peace. Visitation will be held Sunday, July 1, 2012, 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas. Bro. Byron Reeves will preside over funeral services being held Monday, July 2, 2012, 11:00 a.m. Rural Shade Baptist Church, Cleveland (Tarkington Prairie), Texas with interment following at Ryan Cemetery.
