GLADDEN
Noah Douglas “Doug” Gladden, 57, of Point Blank, Texas, passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2012 in Lufkin, Texas.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, January 28, 2012, 1:00 p.m. at Mt. Zion Cemetery, Stephens Creek, Texas with Pastor Grady Gladden presiding. Visitation will be held prior to the service Saturday morning, 9:00-11:00 a.m. at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Coldspring, Texas. Everyone will dismiss from the funeral home and meet at Mt. Zion Cemetery for graveside services.
Doug was born July 1, 1954 in El Paso, Texas; he graduated in 1973 from Coldspring High School and was a carpenter in the construction business. His passion was fishing, hunting and cooking. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and his cat, “Chatter.” He will be remembered lovingly.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents Noah and Fannie Mae Gladden. Survivors include his special friends Opal Pilgreen and her great-granddaughter Kirsten Borden; parents Noah and Doris Gladden; sister Christy L. Gladden; brother Richard W. Gladden; nephews Christopher Gladden and Cody Gladden; nieces Amanda Everitt, Sandra Villa, and Sunni Gladden; great-nieces Breanna and Mayci Whitten; and many treasured friends.
