Nina Ethel Brock

Nina Ethel Mire Brock, age 94 of Houston, Texas, passed away Thursday, January 12, 2017, in Humble.

Services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Cleveland.

Nina was born August 9, 1922 in Morse, Louisiana to parents; Gladue and Matile LaFosse Mire, and has resided in Houston for the past 52 years. She was a former clerk for the US Post Office and catholic by faith. She also enjoyed gardening, reading, and spending time with family.

Mrs. Brock was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Fredrick H. Brock; and brother, Harold Mire.

She is survived by her sons, Fred Brock and wife Joyce of Houston, James Brock and wife Rosie of Kingwood, Kenneth Brock and wife Irma of Austin, Weldon Brock of New Caney, and Corey Brock and wife Linda of Georgia; sister, Leatric Guillory of Louisiana; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends.
