Nina Carr Wilson

November 20, 1934 — June 7, 2011

Nina Lucille Carr Wilson, 76, of Dayton died Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at home.  She was born November 20, 1934 to parents Eddie Melvin Carr and Bernice Gladys Butcher Carr and was a member of the Dayton High School Class of 1953.  Mrs. Wilson was a lifetime resident of Dayton where she had been a member of the First Baptist Church, the Dayton Garden Club, and a volunteer of the Joshua Tree Meal Service.  She enjoyed gardening, tending her flowers and fishing, but most of all being with her family.         Services for Mrs. Wilson will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, June 10, 2011 at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Randy Piatt officiating.  Interment will follow at Magnolia Park Cemetery.  The family will receive friends 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Thursday evening at the funeral home.         Mrs. Wilson was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 27 years Troy Wilson, and her grandson:  Troy Aaron Gibson.  She is survived by daughters:  Susan Potetz & husband Louie of Liberty, Laura Wilson of Dayton, and Lisa Gibson of Port Bolivar; son:  Anthony Wilson & wife Jessica of Wisconsin; grandchildren:  Abby Taylor, Matt Gibson, Morgan Potetz, Ariana Potetz, Haylay Wilson, and Troy Wilson; great-grandchildren: Grey Taylor; also numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
