Neta Frizzell Walker, 69, of Dayton, died Monday, August 17, 2015, at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, August 20, 2015, at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel with burial following at Magnolia Park Cemetery in Dayton. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Wednesday, at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton. Neta was born in Shinewell, Oklahoma, to parents; Herby Calvin and Johnny Nomal Sherfield Frizzell, and has been a lifelong resident of Dayton. She was a homemaker, a former Dayton ISD bus driver after 10 years of service, and member of the First Baptist Church. She also enjoyed playing bingo, painting, fishing, gardening, and sports. Mrs. Walker was preceded in death by her parents, brother: Gary L. Frizzell, sister: Esther Fortune, nephew: Guy Frizzell, and grandson: Kip Wayne Walker. She is survived by her husband of 53 years: Jimmy Walker of Dayton, sons: Kim walker and wife Andie of Dayton and Kris Walker of Dayton, sister: Janet Melancon of Dayton, brothers: Delton Frizzell and wife Ruth of California and Coy Frizzell of Hardin, grandson: Andrew Walker, and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
