Nelda Sue "Susie" Condra

Nelda Sue "Susie" Condra was granted her angel wings on March 6th, 2016. Her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that Susie had touched in life.

She was born May 5th, 1951 in Palestine, Texas, in Anderson County. She was the daughter of Isabel and Tucker Axum. Susie was a graduate of Westwood High School in Palestine and a longtime resident of Channelview and Dayton. In her later years, she received her bachelor degree from Sam Houston State University to pursue a passion that she had for teaching young people to excel in life.

She was married for 43 years to her loving husband Randy Condra, Sr.

Preceded in death by her father Tucker Axum and brothers Tucker E. Axum Sr. and Joseph L. "Jake" Axum.

She is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Randy Condra,Sr; sons, Randy Condra, Jr and wife Teresa, Robey Condra, Ryan Condra and wife Kali; mother, Isabel Axum of Palestine; sister, Theresa "Lurlene" Corne; grandchildren, Zailie, Colby, Adelyn, Kason, Presley and Parker; also numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to cancer charity of choice.

Memorial mass for Susie will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 11, 2016 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Dayton.
