Nelda Rose Cameron

Nelda Rose Cameron, 80, of Cleveland, Texas passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2020. Nelda was born on January 21, 1939 to parents Leonard Floyd and Bernice Wilson who preceded her in death along with her beloved husband, Harold D. Cameron; son, Michael Randall Cameron; granddaughter, Courtney Risae Cameron; sisters, Joyce Ermel and Mae Belle Memory; and brothers, Leslie “Sonny” Wilson and L.B. Wilson.

Mrs. Cameron worked at Tarkington I.S.D for 32 years. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed by all those who knew her.

Nelda is survived by her sons, Gregory Floyd Cameron and husband Tommy Woods, and Phillip Cameron and wife Traci; sisters, Linda Sue Fitzwater and husband Jack; sister-in-law, Norma Wilson; grandchildren, Mindi, Heath, and Ethan Cameron, Britanie Fields and husband Taylor; great-granddaughter; Taylin Fields and numerous other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., Saturday, January 18, 2020 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas with James McMillan to officiate over services beginning at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Ryan Cemetery, Cleveland, Texas. Serving as pallbearers will be Mark Cameron, Jeff Cameron, Barry Cameron, Andy Cameron, John Cameron, Gary Cameron, Doug Cameron, and Marc Keith. Honorary pallbearers will be Cary “CL” Ermel, Thomas Ermel, and Dennis Ermel.
