Murphy "Joe" Glenn Dugas, 60, of Dayton, Texas, passed away peacefully on December 24, 2024, in Baytown, Texas. Born on July 26, 1964, in Baytown, Joe was the son of Murphy John Dugas and Frances Kay Duhon.

Throughout his life, Joe’s love for his family was unmatched. He and his wife, Stacy, shared 30 years of love and companionship. A man of many passions, Joe enjoyed riding horses, whether for leisurely rides or working cattle. He found joy in the simple pleasure of being on horseback. Joe also loved traveling with Stacy and was a fan of country music, often finding solace in the songs that accompanied their journeys.
Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Murphy John Dugas and Frances Kay Duhon, his father-in-law, Robert Drake, and a nephew, Drake Nobles.
He leaves behind his loving wife, Stacy Dugas; children, April Dugas, Timothy Dugas and wife Kate, Sonny Dugas and wife Lindsey, Kacie Dugas, Brittanie Turnbull and husband Acie, and Lane Jarvis and wife Taylor; his mothers-in-law, Joyce Cheatham and Sherren Drake; his sister, Donna Reeves and husband Joe Glen; and his treasured grandchildren: Taylor, Landyn, Kynlee, and Harper, Jamie, Braxton, Hudson, and Holden, Connor and Hadlee, Bryson, Nathali, Nicole, and Bralynn, Rheagan and a special caretaker, Debra Edwards.
