Monroe “Jack” Sheffield, 70, of Highlands, Texas, passed away on Friday, September 10, 2021 in Baytown. Jack was born August 21, 1951 in Newton, Texas, to parents Monroe Jackson Sheffield, Sr. and Louella Cain Sheffield.
Jack had lived in Highlands for 20 years and had resided in Baytown most of his life. He had served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam. Jack was a truck driver by profession. He was a genealogy buff and loved old cars.
Jack was preceded in death by parents and son Brian Sheffield. He is survived by wife, Martha Sheffield; sons, Ben Sheffield and wife Jennifer and Aaron Sheffield and wife, Cheryl; sister, Beverly Davis; grandchildren, Blake Sheffield, Raina Sheffield and Zachary Sheffield; numerous nieces and nephew; other relatives and friends.
Service for Mr. Sheffield will be 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 15, 2021, at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel in Dayton. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. until time of service.
