Milton Davis, Jr.

Milton “Little M” Davis, Jr., 64, of Hardin, died Sunday, December 2, 2012, at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 5, 2012, at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home and conclude in the chapel. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Tuesday, at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton. Little M. was born December 23, 1947 in Houston, to parents; Milton Davis, Sr. and Sue Hammons Davis, a former resident of Dayton, and has resided in Hardin for the past eight years. He was a former employee of Lone Star Beer, the owner and operator of Davis Towing, and enjoyed motorcycles, fishing, rodeos, and taking road trips. Mr. Davis was preceded in death by his father: Milton Davis, Sr., mother: Sue Hammons Harp, wife: Brenda Moses-Davis, son: Rodney Owen, and brother: Mark Davis. He is survived by his children: Richard Davis and wife Amber of Hardin, Kim Adkins and husband Norman of Huffman, Thomas Owen and wife Norma of Spring, Davin Moses of Hardin, and Courtney Moses of Humble, brother: Lloyd Davis and wife Sue of Elgin, sisters: Karen LeFevre and husband Ira of Humble, Patsy Vestal and husband Donnie of The Woodlands, and Charlynn Stein of Humble, grandchildren: Tyler Webb, Taylor Webb, Kayd Davis, Harley Davis, Colton Davis, Kelly Owen, Casey Owen, Chelsea Logan and husband David, Destiny Owen, Thomas “Little T” Owen, Jr., and Chris Alexander, two great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. In lieu of floral remembrances, the family requests that donations be made to the Liberty Animal Shelter at 1914 Lakeland Dr., Liberty, Texas 77575, in Little M’s name.
