Mildred Stephens

Mildred Ethel Stephens, age 76, of Shepherd, Texas, passed away Wednesday, February 23, 2011. She was born February 7, 1935 in Runnelstown, Mississippi to Grady F. and Carrie L. Jarrell who preceded her in death along with her children Darlene Stephens, Mitchell Byrd, Michael Byrd, Ronnie Byrd; and her sister, Kathryn Grantham. She leaves her memories to her loving husband, Edwin D. Stephens Sr.; daughter, Myra Stephens and companion, Buck Davenport; son, Edwin D. Stephens Jr. and wife, Cindy; sisters, Betty Udelhor, Dodie Durham and husband, Jim; brother, Felix Jarrell and wife, Linda; grandchildren, Edwin Stephens, Kenneth C. Stephens, Kevin Stephens, Michael Mollica, Miranda Mollica, Jennifer Miller, Kelly Byrd, Ronnie Byrd Jr., Mitchell R. Byrd, James Byrd, Carlee Stancil; numerous nieces, nephews and other cherished family members and treasured friends throughout the years. Visitation will be held Friday, February 25, 2011, 5:00-9:00 p.m. at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held Saturday, February 26, 2011, 10:00 a.m. at Farley Chapel Cemetery, off FM 2666, Shepherd, Texas. Pallbearers include Edwin C. Stephens, Kenneth Stephens, Kevin Stephens, Michael Mollica, Mitchell R. Byrd, and Bobby Windt.
