Mildred Louise Smith Dunham, 80, of Conroe died Wednesday, March 05, 2014 after an extended illness. She was born September 22, 1933 in Carpenter, Mississippi to parents Otis David Smith and Ernie Mae Crouch Smith. She attended school in Jackson, Mississippi and moved to Texas during the 1950’s where she lived for many years in the North East Houston area. Mrs. Dunham enjoyed embroidery and taking care of her family. She truly loved cooking for her family. Service for Mrs. Dunham will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 8, 2014 at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Paul Morehouse officiating. Interment will follow at 12:00 p.m., at Rosewood Cemetery in Humble. Visitation will be Saturday morning prior to service time. Mrs. Dunham was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 63 years: Joseph Norman Dunham, her sons: William Ray Dunham, Robert Earl Dunham, and Ricky Lee Dunham; brothers: Jimmy Smith, Bill Smith, and Lee Smith; grandson: Louis “Tooters†Hohn. She is survived by her daughters: Patricia Ann Lukasheay and husband Billy of Conroe, Brenda Joyce Hohn and husband Louis of Dayton, and Rita Faye Thompson and husband Mark of Virginia; her sons: Richard David Dunham of Conroe, and Joe Norman Dunham, Jr. and wife Sher of Buna; grandchildren: Angela, Michelle, Joshua, Joanie, Billy Jr., Richard, Delana, Laura, William, Amanda, Beth, Dakota, Josie, and Bella; numerous great grandchildren and great great-grandchildren; brother: Ronald Smith of Mississippi; also numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
