Mildred Faye Strawther

Mildred Faye Strawther, age 80 of Splendora, Texas, passed away Friday, September 25, 2015. She was born November 21, 1934 in Nacogdoches, Texas to parents Elzie and Mattie Wallace who preceded her in death along with her sister, Bertha Jean Barnhart; and brothers, Joe Dan Wallace and Man Wallace. Survivors include her husband, Leonard Leo Strawther; daughters, Elizabeth Shankles and husband Sonny and Dianna Young and husband James; brother, J.T. Wallace; grandchildren, Catherine Young, April Young, Melody Young, Lee Shankles and Kimberly Shankles; great-grandchildren, Melissa Arnold, Jenifer Arnold and Susan Arnold. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., Friday, October 2, 2015 at Pace Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 3, 2015 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas. Interment will follow at Cleveland Memorial Park, Cleveland, Texas.
