Michael George Syracuse, age 66 of Shepherd, Texas, passed away Friday, February 5, 2016. He was born September 9, 1949 in Houston, Texas to parents Joseph Syracuse and Nano Syracuse who preceded him in death along with Carol Peters.Survivors include his wife, Karon Syracuse; daughters, Sandy Davis, Keri Vidrine and Phillip Winfree; sons, Michael Syracuse, Jr. and Kyle Syracuse and wife Tracie; sister, Diane Pote and husband Jack; grandchildren, Brad Davis and wife Teri, Craig Davis and wife Karah, Derek Davis (T-Bone), Kaylynn Boney, Raymond Beshears, Michael Joseph Syracuse, Kali Vidrine, Lulu Burch, Kyler Syracuse, Tess Syracuse, Konner Syracuse and Ethan Ryan Gilbert; great-grandchildren, Rhyan Davis, Jaxon Davis, Kylan Kubiak, Isabella Daivs and Hayle Davis; other survivors, Gloria Johnson, Sue Allman and Tom Allman; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., Monday, February 8, 2016 at Pace Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas. Interment will follow at Farley Chapel Cemetery, Shepherd, Texas.
