Mattie Lea Wright

Mattie Lea Wright, age 77 of Shepherd, Texas, passed away Monday, January 19, 2015. She was born June 11, 1937 in Shepherd, Texas to parents Charles W. Kirby and Paralea Lovett. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Paul Jeffcoat.

Survivors include daughters, Jan Beverly and husband, Charles
Carol Dodd and husband, Charles Dodd, Jr., Susan Jones and husband, Dave Jones; son, Charles Wright and wife, Kathy Wright; sisters, Opal Beverly, Lillian Ward and husband, Cecil Ward; grandchildren, Edward Pierce, Jr., Laurie Walther, Amy Diaz, Mitchell Wright, Charles Dodd, III, Cody Dodd, Sunshine Strickland, Kirby Olvera and Shadow Jones; fourteen great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, friends, Church family and loved ones.

Visitation will be held 5:00 8:00p.m., Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at Pace Stancil, Cleveland, Texas. Preston Baker will preside over funeral services held at 3:30 p.m., Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at First Baptist Church, Shepherd, Texas.
