Mattie Jo Earhart Williams, age 83 and a resident of Cleveland, Texas, passed away Monday, October 6, 2014. She was born December 11, 1930 in Gary, Texas to parents John Henry and Maggie Pearl Jones who preceded her in death along with her brothers, Guy Jones, Davis Jones, and Gilbert Jones; and her husband, Pat Earhart. Survivors include her husband, Vernon Williams; sons, Johnny Wilkerson and wife Judy, Billy Wilkerson and wife Betty, David Wilkerson and wife Martie; grandchildren, Michael Wilkerson, Billy and Lisa Kay Prestwood, David Wilkerson, and Linda Beth Brantley; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Melvin Holifield will preside over grave-side services held 10:00 a.m., Thursday October 9, 2014 at Hayman Cemetery, Coldspring,Texas.
