Matt A. Herriot, Jr., 65, of Marble Falls, died Saturday, October 27, 2012, at the VA Medical Center in Temple. Memorial services will be held at noon, Saturday, November 10, 2012, at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton. Matt was born October 14, 1947 in Houston, to parents; Matt A. Herriot, Sr. and Katherine A. Baker Herriot, a former resident of Crosby, and has resided in Marble Falls for the past four years. He was a graduate of Smiley High School, a veteran of the US Navy during Vietnam, and owner and operator of A. W. Electric. He loved the Lord, his family, and fishing. Mr. Herriot was preceded in death by his parents, wife: Geovanna M. Sarti Herriot, grandson: Justin Hatch, and brother-in-law: Larry Mushinski. He is survived by his children: Wanda Herriot Keys and husband Jody, Matt Herriot, III, Susan Weagant and husband Ben, James Hatch and wife Crystal, Patricia Bidwell, and Robert Stewart, siblings: Diana Herriot Koon and husband Jack R., Janet Herriot Mushinski, John H. Herriot and wife Mary, and Aleisha Herriot Prater and husband Arthur, grandchildren: Wyatt Keys, Toby Keys, Lyndsey Keys, Michael Ramon, Matthew Weagant, Christinia Hatch, Blake Hatch, Christopher Hatch, Isaiah Hatch, Timothy Hatch, Ashlee Bidwell, Laurel Bidwell, Chelsee Bidwell, Jordan Bidwell, and Etan Bidwell, and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
