Mary Lou Chapman Roberts

Mary Lou Chapman Roberts, 71 of Dayton passed away Thursday, July 1, 2010 at Triumph East Hospital in Channelview. She was born December 30, 1938 in Plaisance, Louisiana to parents: Earlist Chapman, Sr. and Agnes Sam Chapman. She was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church and worked for many years at Heritage Manor. Services for Mrs. Roberts will be 12 noon, Monday, July 5, 2010 at the Mt. Olive Baptist Church with her son, Rev. Keith Mitchell and Rev. Revels officiating. Interment will follow at Wells Cemetery in Liberty under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Dayton. Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. until 12 noon prior to service time at Mt. Olive Baptist Church. Mrs. Roberts was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Roosevelt Roberts, four sisters and six brothers. She is survived by her children: Judy Jack of Eunice, Louisiana; Earnest Jack, Jr. of Dayton; Delwyn Mitchell of Dayton, Patricia Mitchell Etienne of Dayton, Laura Garza of Dayton, Mark D. Mitchell of Houston; Stacey James Mitchell of Liberty, and Rev. Keith Mitchell of Houston; twenty three grandchildren; twenty five great-grandchildren and one brother: Calvin Chapman of Dayton.
