OBITUARY BARBER Mary Lois Barber, age 92, of Spring, Texas, passed away Friday, August 19, 2011. Mrs. Barber was a loan processor at the Veterans’ Association and went on to retire after many years of service. She was born in Cleveland, Texas on January 6, 1919 to parents, Marshall and Delia Mae Elliott who preceded her in death along with her husband, Clyde A. Barber; brothers, A.C. “Pete” Elliott, Buran Elliott and Jack Elliott; sisters, Ellie Mae Pate, Thelma L. Wright, Evelyn Wright, Jimmie Farrell, Corrine Smith, and Melba Carpenter. Survivors include her brother Sammie Elliot, her nephew, Kenneth Wright; nieces, LaVerne Schenk, Joyce Stone, Wanda Ulmer, Bobbie Sue Hamilton, and Maxine Trahan; numerous great-nieces, great-nephews and many faithful friends. Visitation will be held Sunday, August 21, 2011, 2:00-6:00 p.m. at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Monday, August 22, 2011 at Pace-Stancil Chapel, Cleveland Texas Everyone will dismiss and meet for graveside services at 2:00 p.m., Brookside Cemetery, Houston, Texas.
