Mary Lee Murphy

Mary Lee Warren Murphy, 89, of Liberty, died Thursday, July 3, 2014, at the Liberty Healthcare Center in Liberty. Cremation services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton. Mary was born December 21, 1924 in Segno, to parents; Luther O. and Mary Cain Warren, and was a retired telephone operator. Mrs. Murphy was preceded in death by her husband: Elbert Watson Murphy, grandson: Shawn Michael Murphy, and her parents. She is survived by her sons: Larry Don Murphy of Humble and John Michael “Mike” Murphy of Onalaska, grandchildren: Allison Stoner and husband Mickey, Karen Fagerguest and husband Allen, Tammie Nicar and husband Johnie, and Elizabeth Hendrix, great-grandchildren: Alexis Cotton and husband John, Brittney Thibodeaux, Brooklyn Goodman, Jordan Murphy, Karen Stoner, Hannah Allison, Ethan Fagerguest, and Erin Fagerguest, and numerous other relatives, and friends. The family would like to express their sincere thanks to the staff of the Liberty Healthcare Center for their love and care given to Mrs. Murphy.
