Mary Jane Jones

Mary Jane Jones, age 83 of Conroe, Texas, passed away Monday, June 26, 2018. She was born October 20, 1934, in Newton, Texas to parents Chester Bonner Smith and Ludy Jane Lenord Smith who preceded her in death along with her beloved husband, Floyd “Snuffy” Jones; son, Isaac Clifford Jones; brother, Chester Smith; and sister, Rilla Mae Lowrie.

Mary was a woman of great faith and a loving mother. She was a 15-year resident of Conroe, Texas and a former resident of Cleveland, Texas.

Survivors include her son, Floyd C. Jones, and wife Anita; daughter, Judy Babb and husband Paul Babb, Sr.; grandchildren, Johnny Jones and wife Frankie, Angela Jones, Kristen Taylor and husband Sean, Sheila Jones, Isaac Jones and wife Jennifer, Wayne Pouncey, Vickie Figueroa and husband Michael, and Paul Babb, Jr.; numerous great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces and other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., Friday, June 29, 2018 at Pace Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 30, 2018 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, 8751 FM 945 Rd S. Cleveland, Texas.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, Cleveland, Texas.
