Mary Helen Gregurek

Mary Helen Gregurek, age 82 and a resident of Rye, Texas for 35 years, passed away Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at her home. She was born in Ashland, Alabama in 1931 to parents Carl Ullmont and Willie Mae Haynes who preceded her in death along with her son Barry Cox; one brother and three sisters. Mary Helen Gregurek is survived by her devoted husband of 49 years Alvin Roy Gregurek; sons Samuel Garrett Cox III, Russell Cox and wife Barbara; daughters Becky Ward, Patsy Whitney and husband Gary; sister Sandra Kaspell; grandchildren Joey, Kimberly, Nicki, Brian, Nicole, Chris, Amy, Lisa, Brandon, Nathan, and Noel; great-grandchildren Adalynn, Samantha, Colin, and Destiny; numerous nieces, nephews and other treasured family members and faithful friends throughout the years. Bro. David Stark will preside over funeral services being held Saturday, May 18, 2013, 11:00 a.m. at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel, Cleveland, Texas. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service starting at 10:00 a.m. Private family burial will be held later.
