Thursday, March 07, 2013 Mary Grace Worrell, 81, of Dayton, died March 7, 2013. She was born January 17, 1932 in Shreveport, Caddo Parish, Louisiana to Louis Green Thomas, Sr. and Alpha Omega Emmons Thomas. Mary was preceded in death by her parents; sister: Betty Ann Little and brother: Louis Green “L.G." Thomas, Jr. Mary was a homemaker who loved her family immensely. She worked in the family pest control business as well as helping in the grocery store. Mary's hobbies included painting ceramics, camping and traveling in the motorhome. A graveside service for Mrs. Worrell will be 3:00 p.m., Saturday, March 9, 2013 at Grandview Cemetery in Pasadena, Texas, Reverend Jeff Weldon of Lifepoint Church Officiating. Visitation will be 5:00 – 8:00 p.m., Friday, March 8, 2013 at Pace Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton, Texas. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Jay Worrell of Dayton; daughters: Pamela K. Styron and Diane Beran and husband, David; granddaughters: Amanda Marie Atkins and husband John Mark, Lana Kree Ballinger and husband Justin, Natalie Pickett, Fawn Maddox; great-grandchildren: Noah Bryton Atking, Hayden Cognata, Hallee Cognata and Savannah Ballinger, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
