Mary Francis Foy

Mary Francis Foy, age 84 of Cleveland, Texas, passed away Thursday, May 17, 2018. She was born March 8, 1934 in Madisonville, Texas to parents Martin and Annie Furguson who preceded her in death along with her husband, James Arvail Foy; brothers, Marvin “Jack” Furguson, Clifton Furguson and Elvis “Joe” Furguson; sisters, Viola “Vi” Johnson, Ann Dominy, Nell (Ewing) Weeks and Daisey Furguson; and son-in-law, Pete Tanner.

Survivors include her daughters, Wanda Gail Tanner and Brenda Sue Keller; brothers, Sam Furguson and Martin “Pick” Furguson; sister, Jeanene Lilley; sister-in-law, Mary Furguson; brother-in-law, Bert Weeks; grandchildren, Chanel Tanner and husband Sean Jones, Frank Patella “Pete” Tanner, III. and husband Steven Elliott, Carl Edward Fendley, Jr. and wife Amie, Billy Wayne Fendley and wife Nancy; great-grandchildren, Alex, Kyle, Lillie, Jagger, Jules, Celane and River; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., Friday, May 25, 2018 at Pace Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 26, 2018 at Calvary Baptist Church, Cleveland, Texas. Interment will follow at Oak Shade Cemetery, Cleveland, Texas. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Calvary Baptist Church, Cleveland, Texas.
