Mary Edna Mcadams

Mary Edna McAdams, age 96 of Shepherd, Texas, passed away Monday, January 1, 2018. She was born September 17, 1921 in Shepherd, Texas to parents Thomas and Sallie Bledsoe who preceded her in death along with her husband, John Thurman McAdams, Sr.; brothers, Eldon Bledsoe and Thomas Bledsoe; numerous brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, nieces and nephews.

Survivors include her son, John Thurman McAdams, Jr.; daughters, LaVerne Teplicek and Sally Kirk; sister, Ann Walker; grandchildren, Denise Teplicek Kinsey and husband Gary, Ann Cook, Michelle Vickery and husband Tom, John Thurman McAdams, III., Michael Haden Kirk and Susan, and Shawn Haden Kirk; brother-in-laws, Kenneth McAdams and wife Gayle, Charles McAdams and wife Pat, Weldon McAdams and wife Linda; sister-in-laws, Bonnie Smith, Linda Plant and husband Gary; numerous great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at Shepherd United Methodist Church, Shepherd, Texas. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at Shepherd United Methodist Church, Shepherd, Texas. Interment will follow at Farley Chapel Cemetery, Shepherd, Texas.
