Mary Agnes Ripkowski

Mary Agnes Osbolt Ripkowski, 91, of Dayton passed away Saturday, January 12, 2019 in Liberty, Texas. Mary was born January 16, 1927 in Liberty, Texas to parents, Frank and Mary Zagar Osbolt.

Mass of Christian burial will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, January 17, 2019 at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in Dayton. Interment will follow at Magnolia Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home. Rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday evening. Serving Mrs. Ripkowski as pallbearers will be John Ripkowski, Jay Hale, Cory Ripkowski, Dr. Brent Hale, Rick Loggins and Ronnie Pratka.

Mary was a lifelong resident of the Dayton and Liberty area. She was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church and the Alter Society. She enjoyed activities at the Dayton Senior Citizens Center. Mary formerly worked as a telephone operator and at the Dayton ISD tax office. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her.

Mrs. Ripkowski was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 61 years, Leon J. Ripkowski; her brothers, Joe Osbolt, Frank Osbolt, Edward Osbolt, Valentine Osbolt, Antone Osbolt, and Stephen Osbolt; her sisters, Francis Million, Pauline Loggins, Rose Osbolt, and Margarette Pugh. She is survived by her children, John Ripkowski and wife Shari of Dayton, Annette Taylor and husband Jim of Liberty, Jeanette Hale and husband Jay of Dayton; grandsons, Cory Ripkowski of Dayton, Shane Iler of Liberty, Stuart Iler and wife Leah of Hull, and Dr. Brent Hale of Dayton; great granddaughters, Cameron Ripkowski and Ivy Iler; also numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family has requested that in lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Joseph’s Alter Society or Dayton Senior Citizen Center.
