Marvin Joseph Seymour, a retired operator from the Albemarle Corporation in Bayport, has peacefully passed away at his home in Crosby. Born in Biloxi, Mississippi, Marvin lived a fulfilling life that touched the hearts of many.
During his time on this earth, Marvin not only excelled in his career but also bravely served in the United States Army, embodying the true spirit of patriotism and service to his country.
Outside of work and military service, Marvin found joy in traveling around the country with his beloved wife Kay, creating cherished memories that will be forever treasured.
Marvin is reunited in eternity with his parents Leo Seymour and Lucy Lamey Seymour, as well as his first wife Rosa Broussard Seymour. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 14 years, Kay Koeppel Seymour. Marvin is also survived by his step-children Michelle Weber (Bob), Rhonda Pereyra (Max), Bobbie Stewart (Bruce), David Daniels (Rachel), his brother Robert Seymour (Shirley), and numerous nieces and nephews.
Marvin Joseph Seymour's legacy of dedication to both work and family will continue to inspire all those who were fortunate enough to have known him. May he rest in peace knowing he was loved and respected by many.
