Marvin Ray Calvert

After a long courageous battle, Marvin Ray Calvert passed into the arms of Jesus on November 11th 2016 at his home in Boerne, TX at the age of 65. He is survived by his loving wife Pam Calvert of 47 years, their two sons Jeremy “Jay” Calvert, Brian Calvert, their wives Stacy and Shannan Calvert, and his six grandchildren Corey, Shane, Seth, Collin, Kinley, and Ashleigh. Also survived by his brother Mike Calvert and Mother Wanda Calvert.

Marvin enjoyed camping and traveling with his wife. He was an avid Deer Hunter and loved the outdoors. He was a loving Father, Husband, and Grandfather. Marvin and his wife Pam fulfilled their dream of living in the hill country when they moved to Boerne this past year. During that year they traveled to all of their favorite places in the Hill Country.

Marvin had a strong faith in the Lord which he used to touch many lives, including his children and grandchildren. He left a strong legacy of faith, love, and integrity which will be carried on throughout the generations.

The viewing for Marvin will be held on Friday November 18 at Pace Stancil Funeral Home at 14250 HWY-150, Coldspring TX 77331 at 5:00pm. The funeral will be at the Baptist Church at 100 E Pine Ave, Coldspring, TX 77331 on Saturday November 19 at 2:00pm.
