Martie Annette Armstrong, age 72 of Cleveland, Texas, passed away Sunday, August 7, 2016. She was born August 7, 1944 in Terrell, Texas to parents Lawrence and Lera Surginer who preceded her in death along with her brother, Acie Surginer.

Survivors include her daughters, Tina Green, Judy Armstrong and Deborah Heard; son, Fred Armstrong; sisters, Helen Pumphrey and Patricia Coleman; brothers, E.L. Surginer, David Surginer and Larry Surginer; nine grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren.
