Martha Jane Ayers

Martha Jane Ayers age 76 and a resident of Cleveland, Texas, passed away Monday, July 01, 2013 at her home. She was born April 04, 1937 in Willis, Texas to parents Alonzo and Mattie Hawthorne who preceded her in death along with her sisters Bobby Faye Vickery and Earline Hawthorne. Martha Jane was kind and giving, sweet and loving, and a heart full of love. She was tender hearted and deeply devoted to her family. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her. She will be remembered lovingly by her husband Howard Dalton Ayers; son Leonard Ayers and wife Rhonda; daughters Teresa Gingles and husband David, Patty Magee and husband Tim; brother Robert Hawthorne and wife Louise; grandchildren Dallas and wife Rebecca, Dana and husband Chris, Timothy and wife Rachel, Sean and wife Amy, Kimberly and husband Brad, Shane, Mia, Mattie; great-grandchildren Faith, Amy, David Clark, Canaan, and Mali Jane Stanton, Kynzee, Kylee, Jayden, and Gage Ayers, Parker and Adalynn Magee, and baby boy Gingles on the way; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other cherished family members and faithful friends throughout the years. Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 02, 2013, 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel, Cleveland, Texas. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 03, 2013 at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel, Cleveland, Texas with Timothy Magee, Dallas Gingles and Angie Allen officiating. Honorary pallbearers include Dallas Gingles, Timothy Magee, Sean Ayers, Shane Ayers, Bradley Hudson, Chris Stanton, Ray Ayers, Ty Higginbotham, Murphy Higginbotham, Danny Allen, Chris Allen, Josh Hawthorne, Bo Vickery, and Brett Higginbotham.
