Martha Carolyn Clark

Martha Carolyn Clark, 74, of Dayton passed away Thursday, June 4, 2020 in Baytown, Texas. Martha was born August 3, 1945 in Huntsville, Texas to parents Albert Luther Henderson and Willie Mae Gates Henderson.

Mrs. Clark has lived in the Dayton area for the past 12 years after moving from Trinity county where she had lived most of her life. She had worked as Trinity County Clerk. Martha enjoyed reading, bingo, and watching sports. She loved being with her family.

Martha was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Jay Chastain and brothers, Billy Sam Henderson, Harrel Henderson, and Ricky Henderson. She is survived by her husband, Tommy Clark of Dayton; daughter, Mary Davis and husband Stanley; grandchildren, Dustin Saxon and Alanis Davis; great-grandchild, McKenzie Saxon; step-daughter, Debbie Crawford; step-grandchild, Matthew Crawford and wife Tiffany; step-great-grandchild, Eli Crawford and Emma Crawford; brother, Farrel Henderson; sisters-in-law, Patsy Clark and Linda Roberts; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Services will be announced at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton.
