Marie Fregia Taylor, 72, of Raywood, died Wednesday, November 19, 2014, at the Magnolia Place Nursing Home in Liberty.Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, November 21, 2014, at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel with burial following at Oakdale Cemetery in Daisetta. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Thursday, at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton.Marie was born July 18, 1942 in Liberty, to parents; Numa "Jack" and Ethel Junkins Fregia, and has been a lifelong resident of the Raywood area. She was a manager for the Raywood Livestock Caf and Pentecostal by faith. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, and helping others.Mrs. Taylor was preceded in death by her parents, husband: Tommy Alvin Taylor, daughters: Delane Faye Taylor and Sherry Cobb, son: Preston Taylor, brother: David Fregia, and grandchildren: Richard and Erica Taylor. She is survived by her daughters: Laura Trousdale and husband Willie of Liberty and Charlene Severson and husband John of Wisconsin, sons: DeWayne Taylor of Raywood and Tony Taylor and wife Elaine of Hardin, sisters: Ida Fregia of Liberty and Florence Perry of Louisiana, brothers: Nathan Fregia and wife Ernestine of Liberty and Preston Fregia of Devers, 12 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
