Margie Ailene Harris-Fox, 86 of Dayton passed away on Saturday, December 14, 2019. Margie was born June 20, 1933 in Dallas, Texas to parents James Edgar English, Sr. and Florence M. Granger English.

Services for Mrs. Fox will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 21, 2019 at First Baptist Church in Dayton with Rev. Howie Howeth and Rev. George Ohmstede officiating. Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday evening at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton. A graveside service will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 21, 2019 at Forest Park East in Webster, Texas.

Serving as pallbearers will be Carl English, Bobby English, Steven English, Soloman Fox, Rob Flurry, and Richard Gass.

Mrs. Harris-Fox had been a resident of Dayton for the past 14 years and she was previously of Friendswood. She was a former employee of Union Carbide and she retired from E.M. Blues Sons. Margie enjoyed round dancing and being with her friends. She was currently a member of the First Baptist Church in Dayton.

Mrs. Harris-Fox was preceded in death by her parents, husband, William Donald Harris, Jr.; husband, Bill Fox; siblings, Virginia & her husband James Johnson, Jimmy English, Kenneth English & wife Mamie, and Carl English & his wife Billie; brother-in-law, Granville E. Paules, sister in law Mary Jane English, . She is survived by sons, William Donald “Donnie” Harris, III and wife Stacy of Frisco and Kenneth Alan Harris of Friendswood; step-children, Terri Fox of Beaumont, Michelle Fox of San Antonio, and Michael Fox of Houston; grandchildren, Samantha Mellott and husband Cole, Sydney Saucedo, Chloe Fox and Soloman Fox; Survived by brothers Bobby English of Tool, Tx, Jerry and his wife Rose English of and sister Mary and her husband Don Phillips of Garland, Tx, sister-in-law, Diane Paules of Rockville, Maryland; Mary Anne English of Lake Jackson, Tx, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
