Margaret Louise Jones Mccarver

Margaret L. Jones McCarver, 70, of Splendora, died July 2, 2014, at the Kingwood Hospital in Kingwood. Margaret was born April 29, 1944 in Kurthwood, Louisiana, to parents; Lambert and Francis West Jones. She moved to Splendora over 35 years ago from Houston and was a member of the Splendora Assembly of God Church. She had worked at Tidings of Love in Kingwood for over 15 years. Margaret enjoyed tending her plants, gardening, and shopping. She was fondly known by her family as the “Garage Sale Queen”. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 4, 2014, at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel, with graveside services at Pruitt’s Chapel Cemetery in Hornbeck, Louisiana. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Thursday, at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Cleveland. Mrs. McCarver was preceded in death by her parents and husband: William McCarver, Sr. She is survived by her sons: William McCarver, Jr. and wife Jennifer and Joey Harris, daughter: Jan Burton and husband Charles, grandchildren: Billy Burton and wife Misty, Leslie Harris, Rebecca Harris, Allie Harris, and Hunter Harris, great-grandson: Caleb Burton, and numerous other relatives, and friends.
