Margaret Louise Hebert Herring, 81, of Dayton died Thursday, December 13, 2012 in Houston. She was born February 24, 1931 in Houston, Texas to parents, Minus John Hebert and Anna Reistine Hebert. She had been a resident of Dayton for 52 years and was Catholic by faith. Margaret enjoyed traveling, animals, and being surrounded by her family. Graveside service will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, December 17, 2012 at Brookside Cemetery in Houston. Visitation will be 4:00 to 6:30 p.m., Sunday evening at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Dayton. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Eugene and Neil Hebert. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, G. E. Herring of Dayton; sons: Gregory Herring and wife Cheryl and Mark Herring and wife Laneé; grandchildren: Adrienne Herring, Brent Herring, Jesse Herring, Alex Richard, Dylan Herring; great-grandchild: Brayden Durocher; also numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
