Margaret Lee Gressett

Margaret Lee Rowe Gressett, 66, of Baytown, passed away Saturday, August 19, 2017, at the St. James House in Baytown.

Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Tuesday, at the funeral home. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 22, 2017, at the Magnolia Park Cemetery in Dayton with burial following thereafter. Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton.

Margaret was born July 24, 1951 in Houston, to parents; Elonce Jefferson “Jeff” and Mabel Vird Majors Rowe, a former resident of Pearland, and has resided in Baytown for the past three years. She also enjoyed reading, cooking, gardening, Christmas, and especially spending time with her grandchildren.

Mrs. Gressett was preceded in death by her parents and brother: Jeffery A. Rowe. She is survived by her daughters: Stacey Fincher of Old River and Desa Adams and husband Dale of Cove, son: Robert Gressett, II of Old River, sisters: Betty Burdick, Diane Gautreaux and husband Wayne, Mary Deck and husband Ken, and Rhonda Barker and husband Lee, grandchildren: Kayce, Kristen, Lauren, Cameron, Katie, and Shelby, great-grandchildren: Emma, Jamison, Mikah, Kade, Brody, Emiliano, Emilee, Landyn, and Lawson on the way, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
