Marcelo Garcia

Marcelo Garcia, 45, of Channelview passed away April 14, 2021 in Harris County. Marcelo was born September 19, 1975 to parents Marcelo Garcia and Maria E. Arias Garcia.

Marcelo had lived for the past 34 years in Channelview and had worked as a chemical plant operator. He enjoyed football and cooking.

Marcelo is survived by his wife, Luciana B. Ayala; his parents, Marcelo and Maria Garcia; his grandparents, Jose Arias Javier and Maria Socorro Garcia Molina; his daughters, Jessica Janalee Garcia, Amy Sophia Garcia, Lizette Marcela Garcia and Mary Hope Garcia; sisters, Jessica G. Godinez and husband David and Socorro Denise Gonzales and husband Adam; numerous nieces, nephews other relatives and a host of friends.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at St. Andrews Catholic Church, 827 Sheldon Road, Channelview, Texas 77530. Interment will follow at Magnolia Park Cemetery, FM 1008, Dayton, Texas. Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, April 26, 2021 at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, 1304 North Cleveland, Dayton, Texas 77535. Rosary will be at 7:00 p.m., Monday, April 26, 2021 at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home.
