Marcelina Villamor, age 88, of Cleveland, Texas, passed away peacefully Monday, January 31, 2011 at her home. She was born in Anahawan Southern Leyte, Philippines on June 18, 1922 to parents, Ramon and Nieves Quiban who preceded her in death along with her loving husband, Estanislao Villamor; sons Gorgonio Villamor; daughter Luzvimenda Vaillamor; seven brothers and one sister.
She leaves her memories behind to her sons, Fausto Villamor, Alfredo Villamor, Rodrigo Villamor, Petronio Villamor, Candido Villamor, Norberto Villamor; daughters, Lisa Bowen, Lilia Rosete, and Marlinda Adaro; numerous grandchildren in the Philippines; grandchildren in the United States; Joanne Mize, Bob Bowen, Dan Bowen, and Laura Drury; numerous great-grandchildren in the Philippines; great-grandchildren in the United States; James Bowen, John Bowen, Tristen Drury, and Kate Mize; sister, Empiratris Otaza; special friends, Linda Allen, Phil Jamero, June Portz, Virgie Thrasher, and the Santos family; numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving and caring family members and faithful friends throughout the years.
Visitation will be held Thursday, February 3, 2011, 6:00-9:00 p.m. at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 4, 2011 at New Hope Baptist Church, Cleveland, Texas with Bro. Ken Worley officiating. Interment will be at Squier Cemetery; pallbearers include, Bob Bowen, Dan Bowen, James Drury, J.D. Mize, Leon Bowen, and Colton Bowen; honorary pallbearers include Joe Bowen and Larry Wilson.
