Amanda Rae “Mandy” Eddlemon, 43, of Normangee, died Thursday, September 8, 2011, at the Madison St. Joseph Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, September 11, 2011, at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel with burial following at Ryan Cemetery in Tarkington Prairie. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday, at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton. Mandy was born February 14, 1968 in Dayton and has resided in the Normangee area for the past 10 years. She was a homemaker and baptized at the Grace Bible Church. She enjoyed cooking, crafts, gardening, decorating, and will be remembered as a mother to many and the family supervisor. Mrs. Eddlemon was preceded in death by her grandparents: J. E. and Ruby Shipman, sisters: Brenda Carol and Tanya Lynn Croft, and uncle: Johnny Shipman. She is survived by her husband of 21 years: Kevin Eddlemon of Normangee, son: Klint Eddlemon of Normangee, mother: Bobbie Sue Shipman Banik and husband Melvin, Sr. of Flynn, sisters: Tammy Hutsen of Madisonville, Maranda Croft of Flynn, and Kandy Humphrey and husband Larry of Flynn, brothers: Jr. Banik of Flynn and James Banik and wife June of Deer Park, mother-in-law: Jean Clark of Coldspring, her faithful daughter: Lucy Lu Lu, and numerous other relatives, and friends.
