Mallie Jo “Honey” Herrick, 71, of Dayton passed away Monday, September 10, 2018. She was born February 14, 1947 in Freer, Texas to parents Lyle Weathersby and Zula Sharp Weathersby.
Graveside service for Mrs. Herrick will be 3:00 p.m., Saturday, September 16, 2018 at the Dilley Cemetery in Dilley, Texas. The family will receive friends 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton.
Mrs. Herrick had lived in Dayton for the past 25 years after moving from Huntsville. She was owner of Business Service Alternative. Honey enjoyed reading, playing solitaire and slot machines. She loved her family and raising her children. She was a very caring, loving person, and animal lover.
Mrs. Herrick was preceded in death by parents, and husband, Floyd Herrick. She is survived by daughters, Myrna King and Regina LeBoeuf and husband Ray; grandchildren, Lyle Sweeney, Amanda Moore and husband Robert, and Lillian LeBoeuf; great-grandchildren, Tristen Moore, Lilly Sweeney, and Lane Moore; brothers, Theron Weathersby and wife Linda and Charles Weathersby and wife Rita; sister, Billie Rae Heiser; also numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
For those who desire memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
