Maggie Drucilla Casey

CASEY Maggie Drucilla Casey, age 82, of Kingwood, Texas, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday, March 23, 2012. Maggie was born in Security, Texas on April 6, 1929. Maggie was blessed with grace, beauty and strength. Her greatest accomplishments in life were her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and she adored them wholeheartedly. She had a passion for sewing, needle point, cards, and gardening. She found great joy in cooking; family gatherings were made tastier with her favorite dishes. Maggie was a steadfast friend, a devoted wife, and tireless mother, grandmother, and loving sister. She is forever rejoined with the loving husband Pearl Casey; parents Jesse James Price and Audrey Wilson Price; brother James Price, and her sister Lavera Nell Puckett. Survivors include her children Clarence Wayne Casey and wife Elaine, Karen Lynn Richard and husband Harold J., Lavera Dorene Mather and husband Warren; grandchildren Terence Heath Casey, Jason Todd Casey and wife Leagette Marie, Jessica Kathleen Casey, Jessica Dorene Mather-Clemons and husband Christopher, Carl John Richard and wife Angela Hurley, Kristina Weckter-Watson and husband Michael, Jackie Richard-Alaksin and husband Michael, Kelsey Melissa Richard; great-grandchildren Airah Ashlynn Casey, Maddox Heath Casey, Addison Pearl Casey, Colton Hardy Clemons, Sarah Lynne Clemons, Cody Jacob Clemons, Savannah Nicole Alaksin, Isabella Grace Alaksin, Olivia Marie Alaksin, Shannyn Elizabeth Jones, Karis Nicole Watson, Brooklyn Denise Richard, and Carli Francis Richard; numerous nieces, nephews and other cherished family members and faithful friends. Visitation will be held Monday, March 26, 2012, 5:00-9:00 p.m. at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 27, 2012, 2:00 p.m. at Unity Baptist Church, 21772 East Memorial Drive, Porter, Texas 77365 with interment following at East River Cemetery, New Caney, Texas.
