Mackenize E. “Kenzie†Edmonds, infant daughter of Kevin M. Edmonds and Kelly M. Welch, died Saturday, March 30, 2013, at her residence in Old River-Winfree. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, April 5, 2013, at the Pentecostal Tabernacle with burial following at the Monroe Fregia Cemetery in Liberty. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Thursday, at the Pentecostal Tabernacle. Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton. Mackenize was born June 1, 2011, in Houston, attended church at the Pentecostal Tabernacle with family, and enjoyed listening to music. Miss Edmonds was preceded in death by her great-grandparents: Lilly and William Welch, Daisy Nugent, and George and Alec Day. She is survived by her parents: Kevin M. Edmonds and Kelly M. Welch of Old River-Winfree, brother: Hunter Edmonds of Old River-Winfree, sisters: Dixie and Daisy Edmonds of Old River-Winfree, grandparents: Tammy and Chris Sparks of Dayton, Billy Welch of Liberty, Clarence C. and Ann Edmonds of Liberty, great-grandparents: Ruby Edmonds of Liberty, Clarence E. Edmonds of Liberty, and Fannin and Carl Young of Baytown, special aunts: Christy Smith and husband Wyatt, Loretta “Sally†Fregia, Renee “Nana†Tousha, and uncles: Billy E. Welch, William Edmonds, Robert Edmonds, and Jessica Edmonds, and numerous other aunts, uncles, other relatives, and friends.
