If you met Lynnette, you knew that she was instantly a friend. She would talk to anyone and she never met a stranger. Anyone who knew Lynnette knew of her deep love and faith in God. She was open and unashamed of her faith in God as Christians should be, and spoke to anyone she could about all God had done for her. She was a long-time member of the First Baptist Church of Porter and sang in the Senior choir. She was adventurous and enjoyed traveling to new places, especially on cruises. Lynnette loved to crochet, and her home was filled with beautiful, hand made items. She was also an avid collector of any knickknacks she found beautiful, especially if they involved strawberries. One of her greatest pleasures in life was going to McDonald’s and having ice-cream with her grandchildren.
