Lynda “Margaret†Ricks Neuman, 73, of Morgan, died Tuesday, April 8, 2014, at the Providence Medical Center in Waco. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m., Sunday, April 13, 2014, at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel with burial following at Magnolia Park Cemetery in Dayton. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday, at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton. Margaret was born March 6, 1941 in Cleburne, to parents; Bonnie L. “B.L.†and Ada Blan Bryant Ricks, a former resident of Baytown, and has resided in Morgan for the past 14 years. She was a graduate of the Dayton High School class of 1959, a retired head librarian for Arco of Channelview, and a member of the Church of Christ. She was also a member of Beta Sigma Phi and bridge clubs. She enjoyed playing games, antiquing, gardening, and quilting. Mrs. Neuman was preceded in death by her parents and brother: Terry Lee Ricks, Sr. She is survived by her husband of 54 years: Franklin “Franky†Neuman of Morgan, sons: Lynn “Todd†Neuman and wife Cathey of Dayton and Michael “Tracy†Neuman of Livingston, sisters: Florence Higginbotham of Dayton, Bonnie Lyrette of Houston, and Mildred Bryant of Alto, grandchildren: Michael Tra’ Neuman, II, Heather L. Neuman White and husband Cory, Erica G. Neuman Yarbro and husband Colton, Travis Neuman and wife D.D., and Trinity Neuman, six great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
