Lydia C. “Cathy” Hardin, 67, of Dayton, passed away Thursday, November 17, 2016, in Baytown.
Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, November 26, 2016, at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel with services concluding at the funeral home.
Cathy was born March 6, 1949 in Beckley, West Virginia to parents; Leonard and Betty Light Prater, a former resident of Channelview, and has resided in Dayton for the past 10 years. She was a retired document controller for the oil and gas industry and a former volunteer for the March of Dimes. She also enjoyed her dogs, computers, and especially spending time with her family.
Mrs. Hardin was preceded in death by her parents and granddaughter: Faith Neault. She is survived by her husband of 44 years: Ted Hardin of Dayton, son: James “Jimbo” Prater and wife Crystal of Kenefick, daughters: Catrina Neault and husband Jamie of Dayton and Tonya Prater of Channelview, stepdaughter: Dawn Allbritton and husband Brit of Arizona, 13 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, numerous other relatives, and friends.
