Lula Mae Oliver 89, of Dayton passed away on Wednesday, August 19, 2020 in Liberty. She was born August 28, 1930 in Oakwood, Texas to parents, Jim Alexander and Dannie Mae Robinson Alexander.
Mrs. Oliver spent her early years in the Oakwood area. She was always working and was a caregiver for many people. She loved her grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them and her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harvey Oliver; her daughter, Johnnie Mae Townsend; her brother, Jack Alexander; sisters, Lila Mae Moore, Pearl Roberts, Betty Jones and Lela Bell Nichols. She is survived by her daughters, Judith Klemme and life partner Kalene Spelt and Laura Coslett and life partner Maureen Gregory; her sons, Deral Rogers and wife Linda and Billy S. Rogers and wife Kimberly; 16 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Graveside service for Mrs. Oliver will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 22, 2020 at St. Anne’s Catholic Cemetery in Eastgate with Rev. Ken Davis officiating.
